At Lotus Mahjong, we create within the joyful, personalized spirit of American Mahjong, a tradition that has warmly evolved in the United States for nearly a century. At the same time, we hold deep respect for the game's Chinese origins and are committed to honoring its cultural roots with care and intention.

Our core collections are crafted as a thoughtful hybrid that celebrates both worlds:

• Cracks feature the authentic Chinese characters and the American number
• We honor traditional color schematics with green palettes for Bamboos and warmer red/pink/berry palettes for Cracks
• Our Dragons are depicted as majestic animals in their classic named colors, staying true to time-honored iconography and they do not say dragon or crack.

Beyond these foundational elements, every Lotus Mahjong set is designed with clarity and playability in mind for players of all levels:

• Numbers are sized generously and easy to read from across the table
• Flowers appear only on dedicated flower tiles
• The One Bam is always represented as a bird and is the only bird in the set
• Any potential ambiguous Jokers are clearly labeled

While our limited-edition holiday themed collections lean more playful and fully styled, the majority of our sets strike a graceful balance: elevated, cohesive designs that feel fresh and beautiful at the table, while preserving the cultural integrity and quick readability that experienced players expect and appreciate.
