Grotto & Grove brings sun-drenched Mediterranean elegance to your table.

Inspired by shaded lemon groves and ancient stone grottos along the coast, this premium three-layer tile set captures the serene beauty of the Mediterranean. Bright lemon motifs, olive branches, and crisp blue and and yellow tones evoke the fresh grove, while refined water dragons and classic Mediterranean tile flowers reflect the cool, timeless grotto.

What makes it truly special are the playful Joker tiles — a charming assortment of lemon-inspired drinks and treats (Sorbet, Lemonade, Lemon Martinis and more) — the perfect refreshment between hands as you gather in the grove.

Design Details

The face is a soft pale blue (almost periwinkle) with a bright yellow inner layer; the back is vibrant cobalt and matches our Dolce Riviera mat.

This set is very player-friendly — the tiles are highly distinguishable from across the table, so there’s no need to reach for quick reference cards during play (though we include them for convenience).  The engraved tiles are textured for a premium feel.

Tiles

Hand-drawn tiles tell a refreshing Mediterranean story:

• Dots feature an increasing number of plump, sunny lemons.
• Bams are graceful olive branches.
• Cracks display traditional Chinese numbers.
• Flowers draw inspiration from classic Mediterranean ceramic tiles.
• Winds include a lemon branch with clear large letters
• Dragons showcase the beautiful Drakaina — elegant female water guardians from ancient Greek mythology, depicted in their graceful, serpentine form.  The White Dragon/Soap is a rectangular tile pattern with corner lemons.
• Jokers feature a tempting assortment of lemon sorbet, fresh lemonade, limoncello martinis, and other refreshing drinks.

Specifications • Larger Size: 1" × 1.44" × 0.6" • Premium three-layer acrylic tiles, engraved with artwork and finished with UV printing • Machine-polished and then an additional hand-polish for a  luxurious feel.

160 tiles (traditional 36 of each suit, 16 winds, 12 dragons, 8 flowers, 10 jokers, and 6 blanks).
